Temperatures are displayed usually in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees, each being relevant in specific regions. Depending on your browser's settings, the articles you look up containing temperature values should match with your knowledge most of the time. Also, there's a big chance you'll already find your values converted. If by any chance you land on a page where the displayed unit of temperature is unfamiliar, Temperature Converter for Firefox can help you convert them on the spot.
Adds an entry in the context menu
Having to open up a new tab for conversion purposes can become annoying over time, especially if you are trying to focus on the information at hand and not on other tasks. The add-on uses a straightforward conversion process that includes selecting the temperature value followed by clicking the new context menu entry, the extension comes with.
The converted results will be placed between parentheses near the original values, making them look like an integral part of the article.
Temperature selection is important
The extension works fine, but one can experience misfires if text selection is not done properly. Make sure you include the numeral value and the unit's symbol (°C or °F). If any blank spaces or parts of other words are detected, the conversion fails.
Regarding its accuracy, the add-on seems to be doing a better job than most online converters. For example, the values processed with Temperature Converter were more close to the truth than the ones offered by default, as they were not rounded up.
To sum it up
Temperature Converter for Firefox lets you change temperature values found on the web to your corresponding unit. The best feature of this add-on is its non-intrusiveness. You won't even know it's there unless you are actively converting values.

The cell-cell, cell-extracellular matrix, cell-growth factors and the control of cell differentiation, proliferation, survival and apoptosis are crucial for proper skeletogenesis. Recent studies have investigated the action of bone cells, osteoclasts and osteoblasts in vivo and vitro using murine models. Gene targeting technology has been applied to this area and led to some remarkable findings. Based on these findings, growth factors essential for proper skeletogenesis were identified, and their precise functions were clarified. This paper reviews studies of growth factors which are critically important for skeletal development.Q:

The active agent may also be contained in any carrier vehicle that is suitable for the application, such as tablets, film-coated tablets, capsules, suspensions, creams, ointments, aqueous or oily solutions, aerosols, and powders or implants. The other properties of the device are in general the same as those of the implant in which case only the coating and/or the method of production may differ. If the active substance can be applied or released from a carrier directly in the eye, then the carrier preferably has the same composition as the implant. The coating may be transparent or may contain one or more colorants.
In addition, the implant may contain an additive that is capable of lowering the temperature at which the implant starts to produce reaction products with water. Such additives are preferably nontoxic or have a low toxicity, e.g. substances selected from the group consisting of organic metals, such as sodium, magnesium and potassium, organic acids and salts of said acids, among which acetic acid and potassium acetate are preferred.
The implant may be coated with a polymeric or a biopolymeric material or with a mixture of such materials. The coating of the implant may be for example a polyurethane, such as the product sold under the name Silastic, a polyethylene, such as the product sold under the name PE-50 or PE-91 by Dow Corning, a copolymer such as silicone-polyoxy-ethylene; copolymer of alkyl ether, ester or amide of propylene and ethylene, such as polypropylene glycol methylether methacrylate; a copolymer of vinyl acetate and an aromatic vinyl, such as a polystyrene, a copolymer of styrene and vinyl acetate, such as a polystyrene metacrylate, a copolymer of butadiene and styrene; copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, such as a copolymer of polyoxyethylene and vinyl acetate; polymeric ester of vinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinyl chloride chloride, polytetrafluoroethylene, poly-N-acryl

Change My Money’s League
I recently switched to a change my bank account. As part of the switch they offered to send me a welcome kit that included the bank’s credit card. The kit also included a free Visa card that I could use at “thousands of merchant locations”.
So I went and bought a bunch of stuff with the free card. It was pretty neat. Except that, instead of converting any digital currencies to US dollars, they converted them to actual dollars. So after each time I charged something, I would see how much I had in my account.
My credit card has an option to convert digital currencies to dollars on the fly as I use it. So I use that instead. Since I started paying for things with the Visa card instead of my bank account, I’ve been in the habit of checking my balance before shopping online. This means I’ve been weighing how much I want to spend on things, not just how much I have.
I like the way that makes me feel. I no longer feel like my bank is keeping track of how much money I have in the bank, but it is. And all of the coins feel worthless.
I don’t think my bank is cheating me. But it does make me wonder about my relationship with my bank.
I’m at the point in my life when I’m not interested in handling my money in the way that I did when I was younger. I don’t want to have to count out every 10 dollar bill when I get paid. I don’t want to carry around plastic money in my wallet. I’m not interested in the hassle of keeping track of my spending habits.
I like the idea of the banker’s joke. But I’m pretty sure that I’ll end up becoming one.

There are cases where the temperature in a given piece of scientific research paper is displayed in degrees Celsius (°C), but the meaning of the temperature is indeed a real temperature of a given liquid or gas. In such situations, a lot of people turn to Google and look up the relevant values in the web. The simple Google search for “Convert °C to C” will immediately lead you to dozens of online tools. But, of course, it’s a different story to convert degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit, or more specific, in Kelvin or Rankine. If only you knew where you are supposed to start searching for the conversion and you keep searching the wrong place – that will be a painful experience for sure.
Enter Temperature Converter for Firefox – the only tool you need to make those conversions from Celsius or Kelvin to Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, or Rankine. Everything you need is at your fingertips.
One button to change your unit of temperature
Find the Celsius or Kelvin value and click the Convert button, and you’ll be redirected to the new page. In this case, you’ll be able to change the unit of temperature directly on the Converter page.
You’ll be presented with a value converted to the new desired unit, making it all too easy to click the Compare button. You’ll find the value converted to Celsius (or Fahrenheit, in the case of Kelvin) and in parentheses the original value.
If you are doing a few conversions, then clicking the Compare button every time would be a time-consuming and tedious job. In such cases, you can hit the Reset button. The original value will again appear as the first one, followed by the fresh value in parentheses.
